Dallas Chocolate Classes’s most popular GROUP ACTIVITY!
THE ACTIVITY: In this hands-on event, participants are first guided through an enlightening education about the origins of cacao (with visual aids) to better understand how chocolates are labeled. Participants will then taste premium chocolates of varying cacao percentages and flavor profiles to understand the impact on a chocolate truffle recipe. Chef Zach will keep it fun and interactive by asking questions along the way to challenge the group's perceptions and knowledge about chocolate. After learning about chocolate’s natural flavors, your chocolate truffle-making expertise will be taken to the next level!
Next, Chef Zach will demonstrate the recipe, along with audience volunteer assistants, for making the perfect chocolate truffle, sharing tips and techniques as used in professional chocolate shops.
Next, the program becomes hands-on, as participants don chocolatier gloves, are paired together to create and name their own “chocolate shop,” and roll and decorate their French-style chocolate truffles, which each person takes home (6 to 8 truffles per person) in their chocolate-colored bonbon boxes along with copies of two recipes for both milk and dark chocolate truffles. Groups are asked to share their chocolate shop names for more interactive fun.

GROUP SIZE: From 3 to 50 (no minimum group size. For very small groups of 3 to 4, you might also consider a private Couples Class.)
PRICE: $550* minimum, covering the first 10 people. Only $15 more for each person above 10. All materials provided.
